Topflight Rescue – Pincushion Mountain

Monday, August 31, 2020

Topflight Elite Training and Charters was happy to assist in a Class D rescue operation in Peachland on Friday August 28.

Working with Penticton Search and Rescue, Topflight evacuated a hiker from the top of Pincushion Mountain.

Helicopter Class D operations use a longline with an attached harness and/or stretcher, and are useful for rescues in difficult to access areas.

Additional details and photos are contained in the linked article.
